Simple Salad

Here it is a simple recipe of salad to serve with my simple french fries and scramble eggs. Check it out ^^

Ingredients:
-   3 counter cabbage, shred softly
-   1 tomato, shred softly
-   1 carrot, grate
-   2 tablespoon mayonaise
-   1 tablespoon tomato ketchup

Direction:
Mix cabbage, tomato and carrot in a bowl, add mayonaise and tomato ketcup on the top, then serve. That's all :)

Salty Corn Cake


Ingredients:
- 3 corn cob
- 2 garlic clove
- 2 small red onion
- 1/2 tea spoon pepper powder
- 1/2 tea spoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 table spoon wheat flour
- 1 stalk celery, shred
- cooking oil for deep frying

 Direction:
- take corn cob, shred in the grain
- shatter garlic clove, red onion, pepper powder, and salt, mix with the corn grain and celery
- add egg, mix well then add wheat flour, mix well again
- take one table spoon of the corn batter, put into the heating cooking oil. Do this untill all the batter used up.
- deep fry till the colour change to yellow brown, drain from oil then serve ^_^

    Spinach Saute (Indonesian Food)


    Ingredients:
    - 2 bunch of spinach, take the leaf
    - 1 garlic clove, shred
    - 2 small red onion, shred
    - 1/2 teaspoon salt
    - 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    - 1/4 teaspoon sugar
    - 1 tablespoon cooking oil

    Direction:
    - heat the cooking oil in a wok
    - put the garlic and red onion shred, mix them till aromatic
    - add the spinach leafs, mix it again, use a high heating
    - add salt, sugar, and pepper, beat them about just 1 minute, remove from stove, then put it in a plate, serve

    Shrimp Cake (Indonesian Food: Peyek Udang)

    Ingredients:
    - 250 grams small shrimp
    - 3 garlic clove
    - 1 teaspoon pepper powder
    - 1 small red onion
    - 100 grams rice flour (this flour make them crispy, but if you don't have it, just use wheat flour)
    - 2 tablespoon wheat flour
    - water
    - 1 teaspoon salt
    - cooking oil for deep frying

    Direction:
    - shatter the garlic clove, small red onion, pepper, and salt
    - mix the shattered spices with the shrimps, add rice flour, wheat flour, and water, mix them well (use water just to make the batter wet)
    - take a table spoon of the shrimp batter then put it into the heating cooking oil. do it till all the batter used up.
    - deep fry them till the colour become yellow brown.
    - Ready to serve.. ^^

    Tofu Omelette

    Ingredients:
    - 2 eggs
    - 70 grams tofu, cut into cubes
    - 1/2 tomato, throw the seeds, cut into small cubes
    - 1 tea spoon salt
    - 1 tea spoon pepper powder
    - 1 table spoon cooking oil or butter

    Direction:
    -  mix eggs, salt, and pepper, whisk them 
    - small heat the cooking oil in a pan, pour the eggs
    - spread the tofu and tomato cubes into eggs, cover the pan
    - remove the cover if the eggs look cooked, then serve

    Salty Coconut Ebi (Indonesian Food: Serundeng Ebi)


    Ingredients:
    - 1/2 fresh coconut, scrape
    - 1 cup ebi (dry shrimp), clean with water then fry without oil till dry
    - 2 garlic clove
    - 3 small red onion
    - 1 tea spoon salt
    - 3 table spoon grated brown sugar
    - 2 laurel leafs
    - 1 tea spoon tamarind juice
    - 2 fresh chili
    - 1 table spoon cooking oil

    Direction:
    - Shatter the spices: chili, garlic, red onion, brown sugar, salt, and add tamarind juice
    - heat cooking oil, add the spices, just mix it till aromatic, add the scraped coconut and ebi, mix all well till dry then remove. Serve

      Green Banana Dessert (Indonesian Food: Pisang Ijo)


      Main Ingredient: 
      - 1 bunch of bananas (plantain), steam, remove peel
      - 300 grams wheat flour
      - 1 egg, dough
      - 1 table spoon pandan paste or another green paste to make the batter green
      - 10 cup of water
      - a little bit butter or margarine

      Gravy:
      - 200 grams wheat flour
      - 1 cup thick coconut milk
      - 2 cup sugar
      - 10 cup of water

      Complement:
      - cocopandan syrup
      - sweet thick milk
      - ice cube

      Direction:
      - mix well wheat flour, water, egg, and pandan paste. Heat butter in a pan, pour 1/2 cup of batter, wait till the surface cooked, remove (this will form a green omelette)
      - take a green omelette while it's still hot, put as the rough side at top, put 1 banana, packed with omelette by rolling it, then twist both of the tips so all banana covered with green omelette. Do this till all the batter and banana used up
      - for gravy: mix all ingredients, cook till thick, remove
      - serve: take one green banana, put into a bowl, add ice cubes, pour the gravy, then syrup and sweet thick milk.

      Sambal Ebi (Indonesian Food)

      Ingredients:
      - 2 fresh chili
      - 1/2 tea spoon salt
      - 1 tomato
      - 2 table spoon ebi (dry small shrimp)
      - 1 small fragrant citrus fruit
      - 1 cup of hot water

      Direction:
      - soak ebi with hot water for 5 minute, drain
      - shatter chili, salt, tomato, and ebi till soft, add citrus fruit juice. Serve

      Kidney Bean and Leafy Vegetable Soup


      Ingredients:
      - 1 cup dry kidney beans, soak in water for about 3 hours
      - 2 bunch of leafy vegetables
      - 2 garlic clove, shred
      - 4 small red onion (save 2 to make fried onion)
      - 1 tea spoon salt
      - 1/2 tea spoon sugar
      - 2 table spoon cooking oil

      Direction: 
      - boil the kidney beans with garlic and red onion in much water till cooked
      - add the leafy vegetables, stirr a while
      - add salt and sugar, stirr then remove
      - fry the red onion till brown, then add into the soup. Serve

      Cassava Leafs Saute (Indonesian Food)


      Ingredients:
      - 2 bunch of cassava leafs
      - 1 garlic clove
      - 2 small red onion
      - 1 stalk lemongrass, press a bit
      - 1 table spoon salt
      - 1/2 table spoon sugar
      - 3 fresh chili
      - water
      - 1 table spoon cooking oil

      Direction:
      - clean the cassava leafs, knead with 1/2 tablespoon salt, boil with water till cooked
      - heat cooking oil in a pan, add garlic and red onion, saute till aromatic
      - add cassava leafs, add a cup of water, then add lemongrass and chili, wait till boiled up
      - add salt and sugar, mix a while, then remove and serve

        Dorayaki

        Ingredients:
        - 300 grams wheat flour
        - 6 table spoon sugar
        - 2 tea spoon baking powder
        - 1 tea spoon salt
        - 4 eggs, whisk
        - 75 grams butter, melt
        - 250 ml liquid milk
        - 1 tea spoon margarine 

        Filling:
        - 100 grams kidney bean, soak in water for 3 hours
        - 150 ml liquid milk
        - 75 grams sugar


        Direction:
        - Filling: boil kidney bean in water till cooked, shatter well till soft, add milk and sugar, cook till thick, remove set a side
        - mix well wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add eggs, butter, and milk little by little while stirr it well
        - heat the dorayaki pan, spread margarine
        - pour 2 table spoon batter in the pan till 3/4 full, cook till the botoom side brown, remove, set a side
        - pour 2 table spoon batter, add 1 table spoon filling, cook till the botoom side is going to brown, put one cooked dorayaki at top, wait a while then remove. Repeat the process till all the batter used up. Serve

        For 20 pieces

        Corn Soup



        Ingredients:
        - 5 corn cob, shred the grain
        - 1 bunch spinach
        - 100 grams shrimp, throw their head and shell
        - 50 grams instant noodle
        - 2 garlic clove, shred
        - 5 small red onion, shred (save 2 to make fried onion)
        - 3 stalk celery
        - 1 stalk green onion
        - 1 tea spoon salt
        - 5 cup of water

        Complement:
        - 2 citrus fruits
        - soya sauce
        - fresh chili

        Direction:
        - mix corn, water, garlic, and red onion in a stew pan, boil till corn cooked
        - add noodle, wait for 1 minute then add shrimp and spinach, stirr well
        - add salt, stirr then add celery and green onion, remove
        - fry the saving red onion till tan, add into the cooking
        - serve with the complement, so everyone can use it as they like

        Black Gravy Squid (Indonesian Food)

        Ingredients:
        - 3 squid in medium size, clear them without remove the ink pouch, cut into pieces
        - 1 big tomato, shred
        - 1 garlic clove
        - 2 small red onion
        - 1 stalk green onion, shred
        - 1/2 tea spoon salt
        - 1/4 tea spoon pepper powder
        - 1/2 tea spoon sugar
        - 1 table spoon cooking oil
        - 3 cup water


        Direction:
        - Heat cooking oil in a pan, add garlic, red onion, and green onion, mix till aromatic
        - Add the squids and tomato, pour with water, cook about 10-13 minute in high heat (don't cook it too long or the squid will become tough) , add salt, sugar and pepper powder, mix then remove. Ready to serve

        Yellow Gravy Fish (Indonesian Food)


        Ingredients:
        - 2 milkfish or another fish like tuna
        - 1 tablespoon tamarind, pour with water and swueeze
        - 1 tea spoon salt
        - 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
        - 3 chili
        - 2 small red onion, shred
        - 3 cup of water

        Direction :
        - Clean the fishes from scales, gills, and embowel them, then cut into 3 - 4 pieces
        - Put fishes in stewpan, pour with tamarind juice, add salt, turmeric powder, and chilli
        - Add water then cook about 20 minute, remove from stove
        - Fry the red onion shred, add into the fish cooking, then serve

        Banana Stewed with Brown Sugar and Coconut Milk (Indonesian Food: Kolak Pisang)

        Ingredients:
        - 7 banana (plaintain is the most suitable for this recipe)
        - 100 grams brown sugar
        - 1/2 cup thick coconut milk
        - 1 stalk cinnamon
        - 5 cup of water

        Direction:
        - peel bananas, cut into pieces, put all in a stew pan
        - add brown sugar, water, and cinnamon, cook till boil up
        - add coconut milk and stirr well for about 5-7 minute, remove from stove then serve

        Broccoli Tofu

        Ingredients:
        - 70 grams tofu, cut into cubes

        - 50 grams broccoli, cut according to the counter

        - 1 garlic clove, shred

        - 1 small red onion, shred

        - 2 chili, slice into 2 pieces

        - 1 tomato, slice

        - 1/2 teaspoon salt

        - 1/4 teaspoon pepper powder

        - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

        - 1 tablespoon cooking oil


        Direction:

        - use cooking oil to saute the garlic and onion till scent

        - add chili, tofu, and a few water, mix them a while (use a high heat)

        - add tomato and broccoli, mix a while then add salt, pepper, oyster sauce

        - mix awhile, then take it away, serve in your favorite plate.. ^^

        Scramble Egg

        Ingredients :
        - 2 red apple
        - 3 tablespoon wheat flour`
        - water
        - 1 tablespoon margarine
        - cooking oil

        Direction :
        - cut in half the apples, grub the seed inside the apple, and throw it away, then shred them
        - whisk the flour and water till you get the best thickness
        - heat the oil with margarine
        - dip the apple into the flour batter, then fry them till the colour change to yellow brown. Take away, then drain.
        - Serve it ^^

        Crispy Cauliflower


        Ingredients:
        - 150 grams wheat flour
        - 30 grams (2 table spoon) corn flour
        - 2 tea spoon baking powder
        - 1/2 tea spoon chicken flavour powder
        - 1 tea spoon paprika powder
        - 1/2 tea spoon salt
        - 1 sheet nori size 20 x 20 cm, cut into 1/2 cm
        - cooking oil for deep frying
        - 250 ml cold water 
        - 200 grams cauliflower, cut according to the counter

        Sauce, mix well:
        - 2 table spoon salty soya sauce
        - 4 table spoon chili sauce
        - 2 table spoon sugar
        - 2 tea spoon scraped garlic

        Direction:
        - mix well wheat flour, corn flour, baking powder, chicken flavour powder, paprika, salt, and nori. Pour 1 table spoon cooking oil and cold water little by little, while stirr well
        - dip cauliflower into the batter, deep fry in the heating oil till russet
        - serve with sauce

        For 6 portion

        Roasted Tempe (Indonesian Food)


        Ingredients:
        -  3 pieces tempe medium size, cut into 5 x 6 cm
        - 300 ml water

        Spices:
        - 8 small red onion, shred
        - 3 garlic clove, shred
        - 2 cm galangale
        - 1 table spoon tamarind juice
        - 3 table spoon shaved brown sugar
        - 3 table spoon soya sauce
        - 1 tea spoon salt


        Direction:
        - mix the spices with water, boil
        - add tempe to the boiled water, cook and stirr once in a while till the water all gone
        - roast tempe, spread the spices residue to both side of tempe till aromatic, then remove and serve

        French Fries Simple

        Ingredients:
        - 4 big potatoes
        - 50 grams wheat flour
        -1/2 teaspoon baking powder
        -1 tablespoon salt
        - cold water
        - cooking oil for deep frying

        Direction:
        - Peel the potatoes, cut it into strips
        - Soak in the cold water and add salt. wait until 15 minutes
        - Mix the wheat flour and baking soda in a plate or bowl
        - Heat the cooking oil
        - Take the soaked potato, roll in the wheat flour, then put them in the sieve
        - Sieve it untill the flour looks smooth cover up the potatoe strips
        - Deep fry them until the colour changed

        Fried Tempe (Indonesian Food)

        Ingredients:
        - Tempe size (10 x 8 x 2) cm
        - 1 garlic clove
        - 1/2 teaspoon salt
        - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
        - seasoned flour or just ordinary flour
        - water
        - cooking oil

        Direction :
        - shattered the garlic clove with salt and black pepper
        - slice tempe into 7-8 pieces, arrange them in a bowl
        - add the delicate seasoning (garlic, salt, black pepper) into the bowl
        - pour water till all tempe awash, wait 15 minutes
        - spread the flour in a plate
        -heat the cooking oil, take the slice tempe, cover it with flour, then deep fry them till the colour change into golden brown.

        Pancake with Soursop Syrup

        A. Pancake recipe

        Ingredients :
        - 6 table spoon full wheat flour
        - 1/2 tea spoon baking powder
        - a finger tip salt
        - 2 table spoon sugar
        - 3/4 glass milk
        - 1 table spoon thick coconut milk
        - 1 egg, shake well
        - 1/2 glass water
        - a little bit margarine or butter
        Directions :
        - Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl, whisk, set aside: wheat flour, baking powder, salt, sugar
        - Combine the wet ingredients in a second bowl, whisk: milk, coconut milk, egg.
        - Add the wet ingredients to the dry and whisk until just combined. Rest it for 10-15 minute.
        - Fry in a pan with margarine or butter.

        B. Soursop Syrup

        Ingredients :
        - about one handfull soursop fruit, clean it from the seed
        s, chop
        - 3 table spoon sugar
        - 1/2 glass of water

        Direction :
        Mix all the ingredients in a pan, whisk with medium heat till the syrup thick.
        Pour the pancakes with this syrup then serve.



        Soya Sauce Chicken

        Ingredients:
        - 1 chicken, cut into pieces
        - 5 sdm kecap manis
        - 2 stalk lemongrass, press a bit
        - 1 lemon
        Spices:
        - 5 garlic
        - 5 red onion
        - 1 tea spoon pepper powder
        - 1 tea spoon salt
        Direction:
        - Squeeze the lemon into the chicken and cover all the chicken with the lemon juice
        - Shattered all the flavor till smooth then mix it with the chicken, give it rest 20 - 30 minutes, so the flavor soak into the chicken
        - Put all the chicken in a pan, pour 1 glass of water, add the lemongrass, cover the pan then cook about 30 minute with small heat
        - Add soya sauce, stir, then cook it without cover till the gravy look thick
        - Remove from the stove then serve

        Simple French Toast

        This is a very simple french toast, I only need 15 minutes to finish it.....
        This is my recipe ^_^

        Ingridients:
        1. 2 slice of bread
        2. 5 spoon of milk (I use Ultra milk)
        3. 1 egg
        4. butter or margarine
        5. 2 tea spoon of sugar
        6. a little bit salt (just use your fingertips)

        Procedure:
        1. Cut each slice of bread to become 4 piece, or what ever you like. You can cut it only into 2 pieces or maybe you like if it's form in a big piece so you don't need to cut it.

        2. Mix the egg, milk, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Mix it well. (Let's just call this humm... egg milk liquid hehehe.. ^^)

        3. Prepare your pan, spread the butter in it well

        4. Take the bread, dip it into the egg milk liquid, then put it in the pan. Do this one by one and reverse it to the other side of bread. Fry it until the colour change to yellow brown.

        5. Put them in a plate then put your favorite topping. Mine is chocolate.... ^^

        Nyummy french toast with chocolate topping....

        The best pancake recipe

        Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl, whisk, set aside:
        2 cups flour
        2 tbsp sugar
        4 tsp baking powder
        1 tsp baking soda
        1 tsp fine salt
        Combine the wet ingredients in a second bowl, whisk:
        2 cups buttermilk
        4 tbsp melted butter
        1 tsp vanilla extract
        2 beaten eggs
        Add the wet ingredients to the dry and whisk until just combined. Fry in a pan with butter. Top with maple syrup and devour.
