Kidney Bean and Leafy Vegetable Soup


Ingredients:
- 1 cup dry kidney beans, soak in water for about 3 hours
- 2 bunch of leafy vegetables
- 2 garlic clove, shred
- 4 small red onion (save 2 to make fried onion)
- 1 tea spoon salt
- 1/2 tea spoon sugar
- 2 table spoon cooking oil

Direction: 
- boil the kidney beans with garlic and red onion in much water till cooked
- add the leafy vegetables, stirr a while
- add salt and sugar, stirr then remove
- fry the red onion till brown, then add into the soup. Serve

Cassava Leafs Saute (Indonesian Food)


Ingredients:
- 2 bunch of cassava leafs
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 small red onion
- 1 stalk lemongrass, press a bit
- 1 table spoon salt
- 1/2 table spoon sugar
- 3 fresh chili
- water
- 1 table spoon cooking oil

Direction:
- clean the cassava leafs, knead with 1/2 tablespoon salt, boil with water till cooked
- heat cooking oil in a pan, add garlic and red onion, saute till aromatic
- add cassava leafs, add a cup of water, then add lemongrass and chili, wait till boiled up
- add salt and sugar, mix a while, then remove and serve

    Dorayaki

    Ingredients:
    - 300 grams wheat flour
    - 6 table spoon sugar
    - 2 tea spoon baking powder
    - 1 tea spoon salt
    - 4 eggs, whisk
    - 75 grams butter, melt
    - 250 ml liquid milk
    - 1 tea spoon margarine 

    Filling:
    - 100 grams kidney bean, soak in water for 3 hours
    - 150 ml liquid milk
    - 75 grams sugar


    Direction:
    - Filling: boil kidney bean in water till cooked, shatter well till soft, add milk and sugar, cook till thick, remove set a side
    - mix well wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add eggs, butter, and milk little by little while stirr it well
    - heat the dorayaki pan, spread margarine
    - pour 2 table spoon batter in the pan till 3/4 full, cook till the botoom side brown, remove, set a side
    - pour 2 table spoon batter, add 1 table spoon filling, cook till the botoom side is going to brown, put one cooked dorayaki at top, wait a while then remove. Repeat the process till all the batter used up. Serve

    For 20 pieces

    Corn Soup



    Ingredients:
    - 5 corn cob, shred the grain
    - 1 bunch spinach
    - 100 grams shrimp, throw their head and shell
    - 50 grams instant noodle
    - 2 garlic clove, shred
    - 5 small red onion, shred (save 2 to make fried onion)
    - 3 stalk celery
    - 1 stalk green onion
    - 1 tea spoon salt
    - 5 cup of water

    Complement:
    - 2 citrus fruits
    - soya sauce
    - fresh chili

    Direction:
    - mix corn, water, garlic, and red onion in a stew pan, boil till corn cooked
    - add noodle, wait for 1 minute then add shrimp and spinach, stirr well
    - add salt, stirr then add celery and green onion, remove
    - fry the saving red onion till tan, add into the cooking
    - serve with the complement, so everyone can use it as they like

    Black Gravy Squid (Indonesian Food)

    Ingredients:
    - 3 squid in medium size, clear them without remove the ink pouch, cut into pieces
    - 1 big tomato, shred
    - 1 garlic clove
    - 2 small red onion
    - 1 stalk green onion, shred
    - 1/2 tea spoon salt
    - 1/4 tea spoon pepper powder
    - 1/2 tea spoon sugar
    - 1 table spoon cooking oil
    - 3 cup water


    Direction:
    - Heat cooking oil in a pan, add garlic, red onion, and green onion, mix till aromatic
    - Add the squids and tomato, pour with water, cook about 10-13 minute in high heat (don't cook it too long or the squid will become tough) , add salt, sugar and pepper powder, mix then remove. Ready to serve

    Yellow Gravy Fish (Indonesian Food)


    Ingredients:
    - 2 milkfish or another fish like tuna
    - 1 tablespoon tamarind, pour with water and swueeze
    - 1 tea spoon salt
    - 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
    - 3 chili
    - 2 small red onion, shred
    - 3 cup of water

    Direction :
    - Clean the fishes from scales, gills, and embowel them, then cut into 3 - 4 pieces
    - Put fishes in stewpan, pour with tamarind juice, add salt, turmeric powder, and chilli
    - Add water then cook about 20 minute, remove from stove
    - Fry the red onion shred, add into the fish cooking, then serve

    Banana Stewed with Brown Sugar and Coconut Milk (Indonesian Food: Kolak Pisang)

    Ingredients:
    - 7 banana (plaintain is the most suitable for this recipe)
    - 100 grams brown sugar
    - 1/2 cup thick coconut milk
    - 1 stalk cinnamon
    - 5 cup of water

    Direction:
    - peel bananas, cut into pieces, put all in a stew pan
    - add brown sugar, water, and cinnamon, cook till boil up
    - add coconut milk and stirr well for about 5-7 minute, remove from stove then serve
